ICG Software started its internationalization process in 1996 by opening its first delegation in Montevideo (Uruguay). From that moment on, it combined the consolidation of the national market with a progressive presence all over the world.
ICG is currently present in more than thirty countries on the five continents. It has concessions and dealers in the majority of the European and American countries, as well as presence in Oceania and Asia, and in the last year the African continent has been added. The last foreign establishments have been in Switzerland, Austria and Nigeria, and the expansion process for other markets is in full progress. A good example of the reliability and efficiency of the ICG software is that in highly developed countries such as Sweden, 15% of the restaurants already use the ICG vertical solution.
The international expansion process of ICG is the result of a strategy which has been planned from the start. All software products have been designed and created in such a way that they allow for later “customization” or “localization” in the different international markets, since besides being available in more than ten translations, the software fulfils the fiscal and commercial needs of all countries where it is currently being sold.

Conscience of the particular needs of each market, ICG has established different commercial relations with its international partners: from the 8 concessions using the business model of ICG abroad, delegations with the exclusive ICG corporate identity, to dealers with a high penetration grade and knowledge of the local market.
A fundamental strategy of ICG in search of new markets is the presence in the most important international trade shows of the sector. Since 2004 ICG has its own stand on the CeBIT, Europe’s most important information and communication show in the German city of Hannover. Other relevant shows with participation of the Spanish company include SIMO in Madrid, Expo-Food in Dallas (USA) and trade shows in Dusseldorf (Germany), Miami (USA) and Dubai (United Arabic Emirates), all of which consolidate its leading position in many markets and open new markets.
